The Kee boys basketball team took part in one of its busiest weeks of the season this past week, but was able to finally bring to an end what had amounted to a 13-game losing streak. After adding to that streak with a 59-50 home loss to Turkey Valley Tuesday, January 20, the Hawks put forth one of their best offensive efforts of the season to snap that streak with a 62-58 home triumph over De Soto, WI. The Hawks then ended the week suffering a 69-46 loss at Coulee Christian High School in West Salem, WI.
Holding a 2-14 overall season record, 1-10 in the Upper Iowa Conference, the Hawks are slated to finish out their regular season at home, starting that final two-week stretch Tuesday, January 27 against Starmont and Friday, January 30 at West Central. Kee will then host North Fayette Valley Tuesday, February 3 and Clayton Ridge Friday, February 6 before wrapping up the regular season schedule with a Tuesday, February 10 home date with Seneca, WI.
