Christine was born January 12, 1997 at Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah to Terry and Joyce (Soukup) Lund. She was a lifelong Spring Grove, MN resident and a member of the 2015 graduating class of Spring Grove High School.
Christine had worked at Ivy Grove Café and Tweeten Lutheran Healthcare Center,  both in Spring Grove, MN, and had recently been hired at Stoney Creek Inn in Waukon. She enjoyed outdoor sports, including mud bogging with her boyfriend, Dustin (DJ) Ward, riding motorcycles with her dad, Terry, and camping and having bonfires with her friends and family. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, and loved to sing, was very talented in crafts (including making a bench out of wood pallets), and enjoyed her dog, Boots, and her dad’s dog, Jasmine. But her greatest  joy in life was being a loving daughter, a one-of-a-kind sister and, especially, a wonderful and protective mother to her son, Brayden.
Christine is survived by her parents, Terry and Joyce (Soukup) Lund of Spring Grove, MN; her son, Brayden Lee Lund of Spring Grove, MN; her sister, Kala (Miles) Johanningmeier of Ossian; her very special niece, Alexis; her paternal and maternal grandmothers, Mary Lund of Canton, MN and Nancy Soukup of Lanesboro, MN; her boyfriend, Dustin (DJ) Ward of Waukon; her neighbors and adoptive grandparents, Guy and Bonnie Gregerson of Spring Grove, MN; many aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins; and many, many friends.
In addition to her grandfathers, Paul Soukup and Oscar Lund, she was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Henry and Theodora Poppenfuss and Ruby and Marvin Monson; and several aunts and uncles.
