Decorators needed for Christmas Fantasy


Pictured is a scene from the 2014 Christmas Fantasy. The planning of the 2015 Christmas Fantasy is underway and decorators are needed. The theme will be “Ring In the Holidays” for the November 13, 14, 15 and 16 event at the Allamakee County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Waukon. Christmas Fantasy decorators are needed to decorate trees, miniature trees, doors, gift baskets, centerpieces and tables at the 2015 Christmas Fantasy in Waukon. This year’s theme is “Ring In The Holidays” and will be held  Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, November 13, 14, 15 and 16 at the Allamakee County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Waukon.
The event will be organized by the Veterans Memorial Health Care Foundation members including Kevin Hanson, President; Wayne Burk, Vice President; Amy Coté-Hill, Secretary; Nancy Schoh, Treasurer; Sue Blagsvedt, Jane Dietrich, Gloria Krambeer, Jackie Halverson, Ardie Kuhse, Craig Lensing, Dennis Lyons, Ann Roed, Nona Sawyer, Randy Hesse and Bill Shafer, with additional assistance from Pat Pettingill, Kim Sylvester, Julie Thompson and Karen Swenson.
Christmas tree decorators are needed to decorate artificial trees for display during the Fantasy.  These tree decorators may set up prior to the event and will then take all of their decorations and display home following the event.
Miniature tree, door, gift basket and centerpiece decorators are also needed who are willing to decorate an item that will be donated and sold by silent auction during the Fantasy. Quilters and crafters are also asked to display their talents in any variety of quilted or crafted items that can also be offered by silent auction at the event.
