Waukon girls track team records pair of fourth-place finishes at Crestwood and NF Valley

The Waukon girls track team posted a pair of fourth-place team finishes in its two meets this past week, competing at both the Crestwood Invitational Tuesday, April 19 and at the North Fayette Valley Invitational in West Union Thursday, April 21. In addition to their consistency in team finish this past week, an even greater consistency remained for the Indians in the 200 meter dash, an event senior Madison Snitker has yet to be beaten in this season.

The Indians were scheduled to host their own Indian Relays Tuesday, April 26 before competing as a team at the MFL/MarMac Invitational Thursday, April 28 and then having their 4x100 crew compete at the Drake Relays Friday, April 29, details of which appear in a shaded box elsewhere on this page. The Tribe will then wrap up its regular season the following week by competing at Waverly-Shell Rock Tuesday, May 3 and then hosting the Northeast Iowa Conference Co-Ed Meet Thursday, May 5, beginning at 5 p.m. The Indians will then vie for State Meet qualification Thursday, May 12 at North Fayette Valley.
