Willard and Shirley Meyer of Dorchester will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple was married February 14, 1954 at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Eitzen, MN. They plan to celebrate the occasion with their family.
Their marriage was blessed with four children, including Stan (Bev) Meyer of Eitzen, MN, Bryan (Lois) Meyer of Dorchester, Peggy Burrichter of Dorchester and Lori (Bobby) Johnson of Waukon. They have 13 grandchildren and 17 - soon to be 18 - great-grandchildren.
