Waukon softball team opens three-game week with pair of road losses, wraps up week with 10-2 non-conference win over Osage

The Waukon softball team played a comparatively light schedule this past week in comparison to recent competition, ending up with a single win in three games. The Indians opened the week with a 6-0 loss at Crestwood Monday, June 10 before suffering a 10-8 road loss at North Fayette Valley Tuesday, June 11. The softball Tribe wrapped up the week returning home to post a 10-2 non-conference victory over Osage Thursday, June 13.

Now holding a 9-10 overall record that includes a 2-6 mark in Northeast Iowa Conference play, the Indians were next scheduled to host Charles City Monday, June 17 before playing a NEIC doubleheader at Decorah Wednesday, June 19, hosting Oelwein for the same Thursday, June 20 and returning to Decorah Saturday, June 22 for the Decorah Tournament. The softball Tribe will then play another NEIC double-dip at New Hampton Tuesday, June 25 before hosting Crestwood for the same Thursday, June 27.
