Prize of $10,000 still unclaimed from Mega Millions ticket bought at Kwik Star in Waukon for August 27 drawing

Iowa Lottery officials have confirmed that as of Tuesday morning, September 3 no one has come forward yet to claim the prize of $10,000 from a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket purchased at the Kwik Star location at 101 Rossville Road in Waukon for the Tuesday, August 27 drawing. The ticket matched four of the first five numbers and the Mega Ball in that Tuesday night drawing to win a $10,000 prize. Tuesday’s winning numbers were 8-12-23-39-43 and Mega Ball was 6. The Megaplier number was 2.

The $10,000 prize needs to be claimed at one of the Iowa Lottery’s regional offices, which are located in Cedar Rapids, Mason City, Clive, Storm Lake and Council Bluffs. Winning numbers can be checked at the lottery website at www.ialottery.com or through the winning numbers’ hot line at 515-323-4633. Winning numbers can also be checked at lottery retail outlets or by calling the lottery at 515-725-7900 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
