Obert and Jane (Schlitter) Johnson will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary over the weekend with an intimate family gathering. The couple was married November 25, 1966 at the Forest Mills Church near Postville.

The Johnsons’ children include Chad Johnson of Davenport, Chris Johnson of Davenport and Casey Johnson of Decorah. Grandchildren include Zach and Jace Johnson of Davenport (Chris Johnson), and Jonah and Gabe Johnson of Decorah (Casey and Mari Johnson).

The Kee High School Class of 1971 held its 45-year class reunion Saturday, October 22 at Milty’s in Lansing. A great time was had by all with many laughs and memories shared. Matt and Tiffany Heuer of Mason City announce the birth of their daughter, Ainsley Rae Heuer, born November 3, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City. She weighed 9 lbs. 1 1/2 ozs. and measured 21 1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Cindy and Murvel Barness and the late Frank O’Neill of Waukon, Denise and Tim Junker of Allison and Jerald and Karmella Heuer of Clarksville. Great-grandparents are Ernest and LaVonne Palas of Waukon.
 

Michael Liberman and Hailey Hanson of Luana announce the birth of their daughter, Ariana Renee Hanson, born November 12, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. and measured 22-3/4 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Craig Hanson and Randi Hanson of Luana and Ronald Liberman and Maria Liberman of Manchester.
 

Darlene (Adam) Rosburg, originally from the Postville area, will be celebrating her 80th birthday November 27.

Jeremy and Gina Curtin of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Cecelia Justine Curtin, born October 15, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. She weighed 7 lbs. 14 ozs. and measured 20-1/4 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Jim and Margo Sweeney and Ron and Gail Curtin, all of Waukon.
 

Nick Winter and Amanda Roderick of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Emery Mae Winter, born November 1, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 5 ozs. at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Wayde (8) and Harper (6).

Grandparents are Greg Winter, Monica Roderick and Burdell Roderick, all of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Janice Winter, Gary and Gloria Gelo, Oliver Roderick and Marcella Johnson, all of Waukon.
 

Kent and Katie Schupbach of Elgin announce the birth of their son, Jace Leigh Schupbach, born November 8, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 14 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Ava (13), Ella (11), Brody (9) and Brynly (7).

Grandparents are Peggy Hangartner of Postville, Brad Rekow of Luana, and John and Janet Schupbach of Elgin. Great-grandparents are Leigh and Gwen Rekow of Postville.

Steven and Amber Hendricks of Monona announce the birth of their daughter, Ava Mae Hendricks, born November 5, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 11 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Rick and Debbie Moose of Monona and Tom and Lynn Hendricks of Cuba City, WI. Great-grandparents are Marilyn Moose of Monona, Don Dalsing of Hazel Green, WI, and Tom and Lois Hendricks of Arcadia, FL.

Phil and Wendy (Barrette) Norton of Waukon will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday, November 12 with family and friends at Empty Nest Winery, Waukon.

The Nortons were married  November 9, 1991 in Madison, WI. They are the parents of Tatum (TJ) Iverson of Waukon and Callissa Norton of Cedar Rapids. They also have two grandchildren, Evan and Levi Iverson.
