Colin Ness and Kayla Burroughs of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Liam Ralph Ness, born July 26, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 9 lbs. 8.8 ozs. and measured 20-3/4 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Chad and Diana Ness of Waukon, John Farley and Carmen McCormick of Waukon and Terry Burroughs of Caledonia, MN. Great-grandparents are Ralph and Janice Dougherty of Waukon, Sig and Barb Ness of Waukon, and Milton and Elaine Burroughs of Caledonia, MN.
 

Brian and Katie Melcher of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Waylin Arnold Melcher, born July 25, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 9 lbs. 0.6 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a brother, Roland (6).

Grandparents are Craig and Deb Phipps of Waukon and Roger and Karen Melcher of Harpers Ferry.
 

Travis and Kristal Donahue of Des Moines announce the birth of their daughter, Revi Clark Donahue, born July 6, 2016 at Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines. She weighed 9 lbs. 5.4 ozs. and measured 20-3/4 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Jerry and Michelle Donahue of Waukon, Kathy Clark of Waukon and Doug Clark of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Great-grandparents are Revelyn Lonning of Waukon, Frank and Donna Lonning of Waukon, Ed and Theresa Helgeson of Decorah, and Bob and Marilyn Bulman of Waukon.

Michael and Tatum Wagner of Monona announce the birth of their son, Holden Steven Wagner, born July 19, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and measured 22-3/4 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Don and Mary Meyer of Waukon and Steve and Paula Wagner of Monona. Great-grandparents are Dennis and Jane Meyer of Waukon, Jean Lydon of Waukon, Carolyn Livingood of Postville and Delores Wagner of Monona.
 

Vince Haas will be celebrating his 90th birthday August 6. He will be spending the day with family.

Bob and Agnes (Johnson) Anderson will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary August 11. They exchanged vows August 11, 1946.

In honor of the occasion, an open house celebration will be held Saturday, August 6 at the Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank Community Room in Waukon from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Bob and Agnes are the parents of Linda (Dean) Krambeer of Pine Island, MN, Larry (Maggie) Anderson of Brainard, MN and Lori (Randy) Hesse of Waukon. They are the grandparents of Cori, Dena, Tom, Russ, Josh, Zach, Heath and Heidi. They are the great-grandparents of Amelia, Max, Henley, Thea, Solveig, Ari, Kathryn, Sid, Veda, Grady, Sawyer, Willa and one on the way.

The 58th annual Bulman reunion was held Sunday, July 17 in Eitzen, MN at the Eitzen Community Center. A noon potluck dinner was enjoyed by the families of James Bulman. A business meeting led by Chairman Bruce Bulman of Caledonia, MN was held following the meal. Eighty persons were in attendance.

The five Bulman ancestors came to America from Little Thetford, England, which is seventy miles north of London, in the 1850s. A sailing ship took them to New Orleans, LA and then up river to Evansville, IL. For approximately five years, they stayed there before settling in English Bench near Dorchester.

David Wiedenmann from Foster City, CA traveled the farthest to attend this year’s reunion. David Wiedenmann is the descendant of the first settler, Thomas Bulman.

Carter Schatz, born in March 2015, was the youngest family member attending this year. Carter Schatz is a descendant of the George Washington Bulman line.

Keith and Ashley Schwartzhoff of Lansing announce the birth of their son, Terry John Schwartzhoff, born July 13, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 19-1/4 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a brother, Sean (1 1/2).

Grandparents are Stan and Dianna Schwartzhoff of Lansing, Pam and Tim Delaney of Lansing, and Terry and Beth Fitzpatrick of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Jim and Kay Hawes of Harpers Ferry, Glen Bunge of Eitzen, MN, Todd and Virginia Harp of Moravia, Tom and Verna Fitzpatrick of Lansing, and Leo and Annette Delaney of Tomball, TX.
 

Conrad and Kristin Rosendahl of Lansing announce the birth of their son, Izaac Gregory Rosendahl, born July 12, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 6 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings Alexyess (17), Joseph (14) and Brendan (10).

Grandparents are Ronald and Therese Snitker of Waukon, Shirleen and the late Greg “Rosie” Rosendahl of Waukon, and Diane Rosendahl and Richard Bullock of La Marque, TX.

Marshall and Leah Lange of Garnavillo announce the birth of their son, Owen Lewis Lange, born July 11, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sibling, Leigh (17 months).

Grandparents are Trent and Leslie Henkes of Luana and David and Bonnie Lange of Monona. Great-grandparents are Glenda Henkes, Kathleen Lange and June Freilinger, all of Monona.
