Eric and Lane Rich of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Michael David Rich, born October 8, 2023 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins sisters, Knightley (11), Natalie (8) and Catherine (2).

Grandparents are Mark and Deb Palmer of Waukon and Dave and Vicky Rich of Algona. Great-grandparents are Wayne and Sandra Fish of Waukon.

Dan and Alicia Weber of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Brayden Thomas Weber, born September 18, 2023 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 9 lbs. 5 ozs. and measured 23 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Parents Marlene Imhoff Duffy and James Duffy, Beth and Gary Platten, and Greg and Sheri Greilinger announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Ricki Greilinger of Waukon and Jordan Duffy of Waukon. Travis Shaw and Cierra Snitker of Farmersburg announce the birth of their son, LeRoy Corvin Shaw, born September 12, 2023 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 9 lbs. 11 ozs. and measured 21-3/4 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sister, Shandon Shaw (1-1/2).

LeRoy and Bonnie Jones of Harpers Ferry recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family. LeRoy Jones and Bonnie Bollman were united in marriage July 11, 1953 at the Monona Methodist Church.

A brunch was held in honor of their wedding anniversary at Huckleberry’s Restaurant in Prairie du Chien, WI hosted by their children and spouses including Dale and Pam Jones, Paul and Lynn Jones, Loren and Georgia Jones, Cindy Moose, Mark and Brenda Jones, Russell Jones, Gary Jones and Jean Schon, and Keith Jones.

Bill Moody of Harpers Ferry will be turning 80 years old September 20. In celebration of his 80th birthday, his family will be hosting an open house for family, friends and acquaintances.

The open house celebration will take place Saturday, September 16 at Portside Supper Club in Harpers Ferry from 5-9 p.m. No gifts are requested.
