Kristi Hager to speak at March 18 Lenten Breakfast

The annual Lenten Breakfast events are now underway, beginning at 6:45 a.m. each Thursday during Lent and taking place weekly at local churches according to the following remaining schedule:
March 11 - Zalmona Presbyterian Church
March 18 - Zion United Church of Christ
March 25 - St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Featured speaker at the March 11 breakfast event at Zalmona Presbyterian Church will be Barb Fjelstul.
Scheduled to speak at the March 18 Lenten breakfast at Zion United Church of Christ is Kristi Hager, who will be sharing highlights from her recent trip to Israel. A Waukon native, she is married to Bob Hager and they have three daughters, Aubree, married to Chris Peterman and living in Minot, ND; Alyssa, a junior at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls; and Alaina, a senior at Waukon High School; as well as a two-year-old grandson, Kaden.
Hager has been a nurse since 1985 and currently is employed at the Waukon Living Center as nurse manager. The Hagers are owners/operators of Upper Iowa Resort and Rental and The Living Stone, a transitional living program for the homeless, addicts and individuals being released from jail/prison.
All women are welcome to attend the Lenten Breakfast events, which include a served breakfast and a featured speaker each week.
