Lenten Breakfast Thursday at Zalmona; Gretchen Conway to be featured presenter at April 3 event

The Women’s Lenten Ecumenical Breakfast events are held each Thursday throughout the Lenten season at Waukon area churches. The events begin at 6:45 a.m. with breakfast, followed at 7 a.m. with a program. All women in the area are invited to attend these events taking place during the Lenten season.
The Thursday, March 27 Lenten Breakfast will be hosted by Zalmona Presbyterian Church in rural Waukon. Jennifer Jones will be presenting the program on the outreach of the Midwest Mission Bible Training Center located in Cresco.
Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon will be hosting the Ecumenical Women's Breakfast Thursday, April 3. The speaker will be Gretchen Conway, who will be speaking on the Conway Caring Community, which is her family of seven who volunteer in many ways in an effort to extend empathy and compassion to those in need.
