Picture Perfect Auto Detailing makes "clean" start on West Main Street

Picture Perfect Auto Detailing opened for business on West Main Street in Waukon in late summer of this year. Owners Andrew Gallagher and Cameron Smith, both 2007 graduates of Waukon High School, say that both of their fathers owned businesses in the area and when they came up with the idea one night, they decided to run with it in Waukon, keeping the business local.
Gallagher and Smith say that they enjoy what they do, don’t mind getting up to go to work in the morning and enjoy the feeling of independence and pride that comes from owning their own business. As new business owners, they have also discovered some challenges, such as paperwork and “figuring out what needs to happen behind the scenes.”
The partners hope to build up a customer base over time by offering good service at a competitive price.
Picture Perfect Auto Detailing is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 563-568-3031.
