Waukon Lions Club annual Variety Show is Saturday

The Waukon Lions Club 21st Annual Variety Show is scheduled for Saturday, March 20 at the Waukon High School Auditorium. Doors for the event open at 6:15 p.m., with performances beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available at Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank, Waukon State Bank, Fidelity Bank, Hartig Drug, Elliott Jewelers, and Krambeer's Barber Shop in Waukon, or from any Waukon Lions Club member.
The Lions plan to use the proceeds from the event to fund several local projects, including scholarships to local youth entering the medical field, camperships for local youth to diabetic camp, vision screening for local children, sponsorship of a tree for the hospital's Christmas Fantasy, support of local Eagle Scout projects, after-prom party and other various school-related activities, repairs and improvements to Waukon City Park, and local Habitat for Humanity projects.
