Pauline Dundee

Pauline Ann Dundee, 79, of Marquette died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Bluffview Memory Care in Holmen, WI surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, February 12 at St. Mary Catholic Church, McGregor with Rev. Nils de Jesus Hernandez as the Celebrant. Burial followed at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon.

Pauline Ann was born February 16, 1938 to Cyril and Lucille (Mauss) Byrnes in Waukon. She was baptized at Hanover Catholic Church.

Pauline was united in marriage with Milo L. Dundee October 18, 1955 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lansing. To this union eight children were born. Pauline was a homemaker and loving mother. She worked as a Nurse’s Assistant for 32 years at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital and was also an EMT for the Mar-Mac and Prairie du Chien Rescue squads. Pauline enjoyed gardening and her greatest joy was her family. She was a caregiver to all.

Pauline is survived by her eight children, Milo Lee (Kate) Dundee of Elkader, Larry (Pam) Dundee of Waukon, Theresa (Tim) Looney of Prairie du Chien, WI, Lane (Yvonne) Dundee of Columbia, SC, Maxine (Dean) Rink of La Crosse, WI, Barbara (Thomas) Stram of Prairie du Chien, WI, Loren (Andrea) Dundee of Kearney, MO and Tracy (Tim) Stoeffler of La Crescent, MN; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley Clingenpeel of West Salem, WI and Karen Keatley of Waukon.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Milo, March 1, 2004; and her siblings, Carol Dougherty, Donald Byrnes, Kenny Byrnes and Jim Byrnes.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, McGregor assisted the family with arrangements.
