Ernest and LaVonne Palas to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary March 23

Ernest and LaVonne Palas of Waukon will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with their children and grandchildren. Ernest Palas and LaVonne Nolting were married March 23, 1958 at the Zion Reform Church in Waukon.

Their marriage has been blessed with four children: Cindy (Murvel) Barness of Waukon, Greg (Barb) Palas of Story City, Lana (Jeremy) Troendle of Waukon, and Renee (David) Martin of Waukon. They also have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
