Devin Tielbar

Devin Joseph Tielbar, 18, of Farmersburg passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Funeral services were held Monday, March 26 at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, with the Rev. Harold McMillin officiating. Burial followed in Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg.

Devin was born August 30, 1999 to Lyndean and Mary Beth (Howe) Tielbar in Waukon. He was a senior at MFL/MarMac High School in Monona. After graduation, Devin planned on working at Pattison Sand Mine. He liked working with his hands and excelled at wood and shop classes in school. In his spare time, Devin enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad and his friends, playing video games and milking cows for Don and Randy Wagner. He was proud of his Dodge truck and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Devin is survived by his parents, Lyn and Mary Beth Tielbar of Farmersburg; his siblings, Brennan (Alecia) Howe of Cedar Rapids and Kailyn Tielbar (Wade Schlitter) of Monona; a niece, Gracilyn Roepke; his paternal grandparents, L’Dean and Rosemary Tielbar of Farmersburg; his aunts and uncles, Lori (Denny Wonder) Tielbar, Lisa (Gary) Geick, Layne (Becky) Tielbar, Lindelle (Loren) Scherf, Mark (Barb) Howe, Kim (Scott) Bollman, Karla (David) Hammel, Kristi (Bob) Hager, Vicki (Dan) Schutte, Kenny (Ann) Howe and Jason (Danielle) Howe; and several cousins.

Devin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Emmett and Betty Howe; his uncle, Kevin Howe; a cousin, Remington Whalen; and one aunt, Lenee’ Peterson.
