Waukon girls track team finishes runner-up at Edgewood-Colesburg Invitational Monday

The invitational season came to a close for the Waukon girls track team as the track Tribe competed in its final invitational meet of the 2018 season at Edgewood-Colesburg Monday, April 30. The track Tribe landed eight top-three event finishes to help rack up 89 team points on the way to a runner-up team finish in the 12-team field.

The Indians are next scheduled to compete in the annual Northeast Iowa Conference Meet hosted by Charles City Monday, May 7 after having that meet postponed from its original Thursday, May 3 date due to stormy weather. The track Tribe will then prepare for its Class 2A State Qualifying Meet at Osage Thursday, May 10.
