The Kee volleyball team played through a busy week full of two dual matches followed by a weekend tournament. Those two dual battles were in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play and left the Hawk netters still in search of their first UIC win this season, Kee falling at Clayton Ridge by scores of 12-25, 17-25 and 11-25 Tuesday, October 2 before also falling at home to South Winneshiek by sweeping finals of 19-25, 13-25 and 22-25 Thursday, October 4. The Hawks then split two matches reported from the Riceville Tournament Saturday, October 6, defeating the host school but falling to Postville, both in three-set battles.

Sporting a 3-18 match record on the season through the two matches reported from this weekend’s Riceville Tournament, and still in search of their first Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) victory, the volleyball Hawks were scheduled to wrap up their regular season with a final UIC double-dip this week, hosting Postville Tuesday, October 9 before playing at MFL/MarMac Thursday, October 11. Kee’s netters will then begin Class 1A postseason tournament play Tuesday, October 16 at Riceville.
