Jani Lyn Lippert and Jonathan Robert Promnitz exchanged wedding vows June 9, 2018 at Village Creek near Lansing. Pastor Bryce Roskens and Pastor Harrison Lippert, father of the bride, officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Harrison and Pamela Lippert of Steamboat Rock and parents of the groom are Paul and Brenda Promnitz of Waukon. Grandparents of the bride are Henry and Sherry Lippert and Delmar and Carol Guthmiller. Grandparents of the groom are Jean Buntrock and Marj Kiel.

The Maid of Honor was Jessica Lippert, sister of the bride, with bridesmaids Bethany Lippert and Natalie Lippert, also both sisters of the bride, and Leah Hogle and Natalie Cooley. Junior bridesmaids were Chaylie Lippert and Karis Lippert, both sisters of the bride. Kimberly Youngberg, sister of the groom, was a personal attendant.

Best Man was Drew Pietan, with groomsmen Phillip Magnini, Aaron Palmer, and Bryce McCauley and Aaron Youngberg, both brothers-in-law of the groom.

Brooke Guthmiller, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl, with Judah McCauley, nephew of the groom, as ring bearer. Ushers were Jordan Witt and Luke Hibbing.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an A-line style wedding dress with a sweetheart lace neckline with a sheer and full length lacy veil. Her flowers were alstromerias, spray roses and gerbera daisies.

Music for the ceremony was performed by Nathan and Kyle Lippert, brothers of the bride, and Henry and Sherry Lippert, grandparents of the bride.

The reception was held at the Village Creek Bible Camp with rustic burlap, mason jars and lights as decorations. Lon and Susie Lippert, uncle and aunt of the bride, were host and hostess, with Jessica and Bethany Lippert as cake cutters. The couple’s wedding trip included a stay at Grumpster’s Cabins in McGregor.

The bride is a graduate of University of Northern Iowa (UNI) in Cedar Falls with a degree in elementary education and is employed as a fifth grade teacher at East Elementary in Waukon. The groom is a graduate of Iowa State University (ISU) in Ames with a degree in computer studies and is employed at Tritech Software Systems in Decorah. They reside in Waukon.
