Deborah Curran

Debbie (Deborah) Katherine Curran of Grafton, WI passed away peacefully Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the age of 61 years. The Rite of Christian Burial was held Monday, January 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton, WI. Inurnment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Debbie was born in La Crosse, WI December 31, 1958 to Viola (Augedahl) and Cyril Manning. Debbie attended Kee High School. She married James Curran June 21, 1975 at Immaculate Conception in Lansing. Their marriage was blessed with three children that she loved with her whole heart.

Debbie cared greatly for the elderly. She began her career working as an activity aide and nurse’s aide. She worked diligently to achieve her Wisconsin Nursing Home Administrators License and continued her career as administrator at multiple nursing homes in the Milwaukee, WI area. Debbie enjoyed the sun, outdoors and spending time with her friends and family.

Debbie is survived by her husband, James Curran of Grafton, WI; her children: Anthony (Tracy) Curran of Cedarburg, WI, Katie (Jason) Andrae of Cedarburg, WI and Agnes Curran of Grafton, WI; and her grandchildren, Camden and Annabel Andrae and Nora Curran. She is further survived by her siblings: Ginny (Joe Brandt) Manning, Don (Rose) Manning, Sandee (Chuck) Wiedenhoeft and Teri (Mike) Collins; her in-laws: Ginny (John) Glisczinski, Tom Curran, Bill Curran, Kathy Protsman, Mary Ellen Curran, John Curran, Jane Curran, Dan Curran, Margaret (Don) Richardson and Chris (Andy) Nagus; her brothers-in-law, Gene Mueller and Rick Sundin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Viola; her siblings, Judy Mueller, Ron Manning, John Manning, Tommy Manning and Maryellen Manning; her parents in-law, Jim and Norma Curran; her sister-in-law, Anne Curran; and her brothers-in-law, Steve Protsman and John Walker.
