Waukon wrestling team defeats Clayton Ridge and Postville, falls to MFL/MarMac at home in final regular season dual event, finishes seventh at NEIC Tournament

Tough battle in 17-15 win by decision ... Waukon wrestling sophomore Meridian Snitker works to maneuver her Clayton Ridge opponent to her back in the Indians’ home quadrangular with Clayton Ridge, MFL/MarMac and Postville Thursday, January 30. Typically wrestling at 120 pounds, Snitker moved up to the 132-pound weight class for the varsity Indians and battled back and forth in a tough, physical battle, trading moves and leads before coming away with the 17-15 victory by decision. Unfortunately, Snitker suffered an injury in the match that, even though she battled through to win this match, did not allow her to continue wrestling for the remainder of the night.
