Kee boys track team claims a third-place finish at own home invitational meet

In its only scheduled competition of this past week, the Kee boys track team hosted its only home meet of the season Thursday, April 22, welcoming three other teams to its home track and field facility in Lansing. The Hawks made themselves right at home in the field events, sweeping the gold medals in all four of those competitions, and also added a trio of runner-up finishes in other events to lead the way to 61 team points and a third-place finish at the meet.

The Hawks are next scheduled to take part in the Clayton Ridge Invitational  in Guttenberg Thursday, April 29. The Kee boys are then slated to compete at the MFL/MarMac Invitational in Monona Monday, May 3 before taking part in the Upper Iowa Conference Meet Thursday, May 6 at North Fayette Valley in West Union. The Hawks will then prepare for their Class 1A State Qualifying Meet at Edgewood-Colesburg Thursday, May 13.
