Waukon boys golf team swept at home in pair of NEIC meets

The Waukon boys golf team played host to a pair of Northeast Iowa Conference (NEIC) teams this past week, being most gracious hosts by allowing both visiting squads to take home victories from those dual meet events. The Indians first fell at home to Crestwood Monday, April 26 by a 188-178 final result and then suffered the same fate against New Hampton at home Friday, April 30 by a 176-163 tally.

The Indians were next scheduled to play at Oelwein Monday, May 3 before hosting Charles City Friday, May 7. The golf Tribe will then prepare for its Class 2A Sectional Tournament Friday, May 14 at Pleasant Valley Sports Club in Clermont beginning at 10 a.m.
