Just as in past years, the annual banquet will be held at TJ Hunter’s Banquet Hall on Main Street in Lansing at 5:30 p.m. The Prom dance will also take place in the banquet hall this year from 8-11:30 p.m., following the Grand March and coronation of this year’s King and Queen.

New this year, in between the banquet and Prom dance, students will be bused from TJ Hunter’s Banquet Hall to and from Kee High School, where the Grand March and King and Queen coronation will be held in the gymnasium this year to allow more space and in order to begin the dance on time. The public is invited to attend the Grand March, which is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will include the Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dance. Doors open to the public for that Grand March at Kee High School at 7:15 p.m. and a free will donation will be taken at the door.

Following the coronation, Prom attendees will be bused back to the Banquet Hall for the dance portion of the evening’s activities. Post Prom festivities will follow the dance from midnight until 4 a.m. at the former Lansing Middle School gym (current Kee Connect building), with doors closing for admittance to that Post Prom event at 12 midnight. Post Prom provides hypnotist entertainment, games and challenges, raffles, door prizes, snacks and drinks. Photo courtesy of Kee High School Yearbook.
