Stacy Marie Kamaus, 52, of Waukon passed away, Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at her home in Waukon surrounded by her family. A Private Burial in the West Union City Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Stacy was born February 28, 1973, in West Union to Dave and Jean (Noska) Kamaus. She was baptized at Holy Name Catholic Church in West Union. Stacy grew up in West Union and completed her education at the Antes Center in 1991. Stacy then moved to Waukon where she was a client at TASC for the past 32 years. Stacy enjoyed her daily activities at TASC with her many friends and staff she met throughout the years.
Stacy’s favorite activities included shopping, movies, and holidays, and she enjoyed her house friends and, most of all, her family. Stacy was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend to many, and accomplished many challenges in her life.
Surviving Stacy are her parents, Dave and Jean Kamaus; her sister, Shari (Dan) McElree of Elgin; her brother, Shawn Kamaus of West Des Moines; her grandmother, Helen Noska; her niece, Hailey (fiancé Cody Baumler) McElree; her nephew, Hunter McElree; her uncles and aunts, Sheila Noska, Don and Marilyn Kamaus, and Henry and Barb Miller; and several cousins and friends.
Stacy is preceded in death by her grandfather, Gene Noska; her grandparents, Bud and Erma Kamaus; her uncles, Marv Noska and Curt Kamaus; and her aunts, Mary Lou Noska and Kathryn Schott.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mosaic, Inspiring Lives, and TASC in Waukon for all the years Stacy enjoyed living in Waukon.
