Sally Bacon of Monona announces the birth of her daughter, Harper Rae Bacon, born October 11, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs.  11.8 ozs. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Steve Bacon of Marion and Kenny and Becky Meyer of Castalia. Great-grandparents are Robert and Mary Reierson of Postville and Jean Bacon of Monona.
 

Jeremy and Heather Hills of Postville announce the birth of their son, Jaxon Henry Hills, born September 28, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Todd and Marlene Hills of Waukon, Jean Thomas and Dean Butikofer of Elgin, and Brian and Krista Thomas of Elgin. Great-grandparents are Ronald and Evelyn Hills of Elgin, Lorraine and Judy Taake of Elkader, Woody and Kay Thomas of Wadena, and Mary Moyle of Wadena.

Josh Eubanks and Chelsi Brainard of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Brynli Eubanks, born October 1, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 5 lbs. 12 ozs. and measured 20-1/4 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a brother, Brayden (3).

Grandparents are Dawn Brainard of Monona and Sharon Ingles, also of Monona. ImoJean Ingles of Monona is a great-grandparent.
 

Kevin and Kayla Leiran of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Kloe Raye Leiran, born October 2, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins two brothers, Keigan (8) and Kreed (4).

Grandparents are Tom and Bev Leiran of Waukon and Bob and Jeri Rethamel of Fredericksburg. Wanda Rogers of Fredericksburg is a great-grandmother and Mona Ackley of New Hampton is a great-great-grandmother.

Anthony Ledesma and Samantha Daniels of Postville announce the birth of their son, Zane Mitchell Ledesma, born October 4, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a pair of sisters, Ariana (2) and Aaliyah (1).

Chris and Amber Foutch of Harpers Ferry announce the birth of their daughter, Paige McKenzie Foutch, born October 4, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a sibling, Peyton (4).

Grandparents are Ralph and Diane Mohn of Harpers Ferry and Karen Foutch of Waterloo.

Jerry and Pat Monroe of Castalia will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Jerry Monroe and Pat Reckward were married October 8, 1966 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Jerry and Pat’s family includes their children, Julie (Matt) Mettille of Decorah, Summer (Chris) Wiedow of Castalia and the late Amy Monroe. Grandchildren include Olivia, Britann and Blake Mettille, Makinzie and Parker Monroe, and Lucas, Dalton and Kolton Wiedow.

Paige Mitchell and Devin Brennan, both of Sarasota, FL, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding to be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Ames.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Okoboji High School and a 2013 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Industrial Design. She is employed as a yacht designer for Michael Peters Yacht Design in Sarasota. She is the daughter of Mike and Jill Mitchell of Port Aransas, TX.

The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Kee High School in Lansing and a 2013 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is employed as a civil engineer for Kimley-Horn and Associates in Tampa, FL. He is the son of Marty and Karen Brennan of Lansing.
 

Rich and Jackie Johnson of Waukon, and Jeff Mitchell of Waterville and Pam Mitchell of Waukon announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Ashley Sue Johnson and Loren Jeffrey Mitchell, both of Waterville. The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Waukon with a 5 p.m. reception at the Waukon Banquet Center and a dance to follow.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and is employed at the Waukon Good Samaritan Center as a certified nursing assistant.
The groom-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and is employed at Veterans Memorial Hospital and Tri-State Ambulance in La Crosse, WI as a paramedic.

Alec and Ellicha Seibert of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Jennifer Hazel Seibert, born September 27, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs. 3 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Grandparents are Jerry and Angela Stussy of Lansing, Greg Gage of Lansing, Rhonda Seibert of Decorah and Howard Seibert of Harpers Ferry. Great-grandparents are John and Glenda Roberts of De Soto, WI and Richard and Edith Bloxham of Waukon.
