•Mandy Groth received the Harriet Mott Award at the Alumni Banquet. She received the award from Kent Turner who received the award in 1972.

•Tricia Gunderson and Josh Lechtenberg were crowned Little Miss and Mr. Postville at Ag-Industrial Days. Entertainment included Stacy Kutzbach and The Whitesidewalls.

•Nathan Suckow won the senior division of the Bill Riley Talent Show with his magic act.

•The Postville Lions Club will hold a Charter Night Banquet July 11. Tickets are available from Fred Palmquist and Whitey Meyer.

•Jim Bossom, Postville girls' softball and track coach, celebrate his 200th win on Thursday.

•Daniel Dage has received a scholarship to use on his upcoming six month stay on a German farm. The experience is through the FFA Work Experience Abroad Program.

•Four Postville Boy Scouts attended the National Boy Scout Jamboree at Valley Forge. Making the trip were Gary Cook, Monte Cook, David Kiesau and Alan Tinker

•Gary Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. K. T. Cook received his Eagle Scout rank at a court of honor this week.

•Mr. and Mrs. Clarence (Ernie) Brandt accompanied by Beverly Grimes of West Union spent Sunday in Milwaukee watching the Braves defeat Pittsburgh in a double header.
