Kee volleyball team sweeps MFL/MarMac and Postville in pair of UIC home matches

The Kee volleyball team posted an undefeated week, sweeping a pair of home matches from two of their closest Upper Iowa Conference foes in distance traveled, but not necessarily in the final score. The Hawks first swept a yet winless MFL/MarMac squad by scores of 25-10, 25-11 and 25-22 Tuesday, September 23 before doing likewise to Postville Thursday, September 25 by final results of 25-20, 25-9 and 25-22.
Improving to an 8-7 overall record, 3-2 in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play, the Hawks are scheduled to host Clayton Ridge Thursday, October 2 before taking part in one of their busiest weeks of the season. That busy week includes a Tuesday, October 7 date at West Central in Maynard and a Thursday, October 9 road date at Edgewood-Colesburg before finishing up with the Saturday, October 11 Hudson Tournament. The Hawks will then wrap up their dual match regular season hosting Starmont Tuesday, October 14 before their UIC Tournament at Starmont Saturday, October 18.
