Members of the Waukon Senior High Class of 1965 will celebrate their 60-year reunion Thursday, May 22 at Empty Nest Winery, located at 1352 Apple Road in rural Waukon. The event will begin with a gathering at 10:30 a.m. with brunch at 11 a.m.

He weighed 7 lbs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Ajalyn Folsom (18), Christian Lechtenberg (8) and Leon Lechtenberg (2).

Cheyenne Decorah Strasser and Trevyn Sanders of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Zion Jo Sanders, born January 4, 2025 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Ezra (9), Zane (7) and Royal (6).

Destiny Welsh Teixeira and Leonardo Teixeira of Des Moines announce the birth of their daughter, Gianna Soledade Voss Teixeira, born July 5, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Dominic and Josiah.

Grandparents are Betty Welsh and the late Lloyd Welsh of Lansing and Valtier and Edneusa Teixeira of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
