Kee volleyball team falls to Starmont in UIC home match, splits four at UIC Tournament

The Kee volleyball team brought its regular season to a close this past week with a full slate of Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) action. The Hawks fell in three sets to Starmont at home Tuesday, October 14 by scores of 12-25, 10-25 and 12-25 before splitting four matches at the Upper Iowa Conference Tournament to advance from their original four-team tournament pool and finish as one of the top eight teams at the tournament.
Wrapping up their regular season with an 11-16 overall match record, 4-5 in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play, the Hawks were scheduled to open postseason tournament play with their Class 1A Regional Tournament Tuesday, October 21 at home against Central Elkader, beginning at 7 p.m.
