The Waukon girls golf team completed a busy week of competition, with three meets in a five-day span, all of them played at home. The Indian linksters began the week with a victory, 227-240, at home over Crestwood Monday, April 27, but then faced two of the strongest teams in the Northeast Iowa Conference in falling to Decorah, 229-209, Tuesday, April 28 and to New Hampton, 211-179, Friday May 1.
The Lady Indians were scheduled to play at Oelwein Monday, May 4 for their only competition of this week, and will then host the Northeast Iowa Conference Tournament Monday, May 11, beginning at 10 a.m. The Indians will then prepare for their Monday, May 18 Class 3A Regional First Round Tournament at Clermont.
