Waukon girls cross country team competes at W-SR and NFV

The Waukon girls cross country team got its busiest stretch of the season underway this past week, competing in the first two of what will be three meets within a week’s time. The Lady Indians did not come home with a team score in the uniquely-scored Dick Pollitt Go-Hawk Classic hosted by Waverly-Shell Rock Tuesday, September 8, and then finished eighth at the North Fayette Valley Invitational Saturday, September 12.
The Indians were scheduled to compete at the Starmont Invitational Tuesday, September 15 and will then prepare to host their own Waukon Invitational the following Tuesday, September 22.
