Home ›Kee football team falls to West Central in 62-14 Homecoming loss
The first two offensive possessions for the Kee football team in its Friday, October 2 home game with West Central looked as if it would be a happy Homecoming for the Purple and Silver, as the Hawks marched down the field for a pair of touchdowns and a 14-8 early advantage over the visiting Blue Devils. But, the final three quarters of the contest proved otherwise, as those first two Kee drives would end up accounting for a majority of the Hawk offensive production in the ballgame, while West Central established that same early pace but carried it over into the game’s remainder on the way to a 62-14 Kee defeat.
Falling to a 2-4 overall record, 2-2 in Eight-Player District 4, the Hawks hit the road this week, playing at Springville this Friday, October 9. The Orioles have a 2-5 record on the season, including a 1-3 mark in Eight-Player District 4 play after coming off their first district win, 47-30, at Central City this past Friday, October 2.
