Stinn joins Swartz Law Firm as associate attorney

Swartz Law Firm, PLLC of Waukon announces the addition of Kevin Stinn to its staff as an associate attorney. Stinn graduated from Drake University Law School in Des Moines in 2013.
Stinn is a native of Bellevue, NE, having graduated from Bellevue East High School in 2001. He received his B.A. degree in 2005 from Iowa State University in Ames, majoring in Political Science with minors in History and Philosophy. In 2015 he earned a Masters degree in Health Care Administration (M.H.A.) from Des Moines University in Des Moines.
While in law school, Stinn held a summer internship with Iowa Legal Aid in Council Bluffs. He also worked for a summer with an attorney in Palmer, AK on cases involving mineral leases and easements. He was a teaching assistant for two years while pursuing his Masters degree in Health Care Administration.
Prior to attending law school, Stinn served as Leadership Director and Executive Vice-President of Beta Sigma Psi National Lutheran Fraternity based in Belleville, IL. He traveled across the Midwest assisting fraternity members with recruitment, risk management, member education and general operations. He also planned numerous conventions and educational seminars. During this time he also served as president of the St. Louis Area (ELCA) Lutheran Campus Ministry Board of Directors.
Stinn is the son of Glen and Deb Stinn of Bellevue, NE. He is 32 years old, and he and his wife, Kristin, live just outside of Waukon. They have a Jack Russell-Cairn Terrier named Luca, who gets treated like a son. Stinn enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and sports of all kinds. He especially enjoys watching the Iowa State Cyclones and St. Louis Cardinals.
Stinn is in the general practice of law, taking cases involving family law, criminal defense, juvenile law, taxes, probate, real estate and civil litigation.
