60th wedding anniversary for Ken and Karen Leppert

Ken and Karen Leppert of Lansing will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary September 10. The couple was married September 10, 1957 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Lansing.

They are the parents of six children, including Kimberly (Paul) Mauss of Onalaska, WI, Kristin (Terry) Heiderscheit of Rochester, MN, Kyle (Laura Colsch) Leppert of Onalaska, WI, Kathy (John) Reinhart of La Crosse, WI, Kari (John) Adank of Onalaska, WI and Kraig (Marcella Hogan) of Onalaska, WI.

They have 13 grandchildren, including Shane Mauss, Karissa (John) Wunsch, Justin (Ali) Mauss, Tessie (Kyle) Thomas, Luka (Todd) Jensen, Noel Heiderscheit, Lindsey (Marcus) Stefonek, Lacey (Alex) Wellsfry, Riley and Elle Reinhart, Whitney Weymiller, and Mason and Olivia Leppert. They also have eight great-grandchildren, including Landon and Madelyn Stefonek, Eve, Chael and Raylee Wellsfry, Winnie Thomas, Leonard Jensen and Kimora Heiderscheit.

Ken is retired from farming and being a realtor. Karen retired after 23 years with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the Genoa National Fish Hatchery.
