TASC, Inc. earns three-year CARF Accreditation ...

TASC, Inc. recently received notification from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) that it has been awarded accreditation for a three-year period for its Community Employment Services: Employment Supports, Community Employment Services: Job Development, Community Housing, Community Integration and Supported Living programs. TASC, Inc. is a  nonprofit organization serving individuals with disabilities in Allamakee, Winneshiek, Howard, Fayette and Clayton counties.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. The organization welcomed three surveyors, all from different states. They reviewed programs, policies and procedures. They interviewed management, staff, consumers, guardians, talked with board members as well as agencies that purchase the services offered by TASC. These findings were then compiled by the survey team and presented to CARF’s Board of Trustees who made the final decision on accreditation status. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest quality.
