James Kerndt, President and CEO of Kerndt Brothers Bank headquartered in Lansing, recently announced the following promotions into leadership roles at the bank’s Lansing location:

Rebecca Seitz, Manager of Operations working in the Lansing location of Kerndt Brothers Bank, has been promoted to Senior Vice President. After 20 years with Kerndt Brothers Bank, Seitz states, “Banking’s endless opportunities is what makes it such a rewarding career”. An avid supporter of her daughters’ high school sports, Seitz also enjoys spending time on the river.

Connie Brown, Branch Manager working in the Lansing location, has been promoted to Vice President. A lifelong resident of Lansing, Brown’s 34-year career with Kerndt Brothers Bank began in what was then called the “bookkeeping” department, consistent with her early education in accounting. As the director of the Kerndt Brothers Bank Heritage Club, Brown stays very busy wearing many hats and providing exemplary service to her many loyal customers and friends. In her off time, she enjoys gardening, socializing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kyle Walleser, Lead Deposit Operations Representative working in the Lansing location for the past six years, has been promoted to Assistant Operations Manager. A resident and native son of Lansing, Walleser’s career and personal accomplishments have soared since graduating from the University of Iowa in 2012. In 2019 he was elected Mayor of Lansing, and when he isn’t busy with mayoral duties, Walleser enjoys playing baseball and golf.
