Letter to the Editor: The battle

To the Editor:

For months I have been watching and studying what’s been transpiring in my country and around the world, and I feel compelled to share what’s on my heart and mind.

What’s happening is not just about Trump vs. Biden or Republicans vs. Democrats or Conservatives vs. Liberals... it’s about a spiritual battle of Good vs. Evil.

One side stands for Truth and Justice, the Rule of Law and the American People. It stands for The Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. It stands for honoring the National Anthem and the American Flag. It stands for God in our government and God in our schools and, above all else, it stands for the Sovereignty of God and the Sanctity of Life.

The other side stands for lies, deception and fraud, engages in crimes against humanity and suppresses and tramples on free speech. It threatens and attacks anyone who doesn’t cooperate with them or is like-minded. It openly promotes and supports violence and denounces law enforcement. It infiltrates our schools and our children with its propaganda and destroys our American heritage. It denigrates our American Flag and dishonors our National Anthem. Above all else, it continually thirsts after absolute power and self-gratification and calls Good as Evil and calls Evil as Good.

There is no longer any middle ground... either you’re on one side or the other. There is no more “sitting on the sideline” or “sitting on the fence” thinking this will not affect me or my family.

I’ve never pretended to be a prophet nor have I ever prophesied, but I believe something big is on the horizon and it will determine the direction our nation takes for generations to come. It will cause some to rejoice, leave some confused, and others devastated.

I never thought that I would ever witness what is happening in our nation and around the world in my lifetime. But it is here, it is real, and it is going to affect everyone. There is nowhere to run, there is nowhere you can hide, and it will find you.

I know that I’ll probably receive feedback and backlash from this letter, but that’s okay, for I know the God that I serve. The feedback will also tell me the God you serve.

Wake Up America! Pray for our nation, pray for our children, pray for our grandchildren.

Sincerely,
Dennis L. Miller
