Kee boys basketball team returns to action with pair of UIC losses, 75-44 at Turkey Valley and 63-49 at home against North Fayette Valley

A return to competition following the holiday break turned out to be a little less busy for the Kee boys basketball team than originally planned, as the Hawks played just two of the three games they had scheduled over a five-day frame this past week. A Tuesday, January 3 home game with Waukon was canceled due to winter weather, but the Kee boys still played on back-to-back days to close out the week. Both of those contests were played against Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) opponents, and both of them ended up shy of the win column, as the Hawks fell at Turkey Valley Friday, January 6 by a 75-44 final result before suffering a similar fate at home with a 63-49 loss to North Fayette Valley Saturday, January 7.

The Hawks were next scheduled to play at New Hampton Monday, January 9 in a game rescheduled from December 22 before playing at MFL/MarMac Tuesday, January 10 and then hosting Central Elkader Friday, January 13 and playing at Upper Iowa University in Fayette Saturday, January 14. The Kee boys will then play at North Fayette Valley Tuesday, January 17 before hosting Clayton Ridge Friday, January 20.
