Kee boys basketball team splits pair of Upper Iowa Conference battles, falls at South Winneshiek, 55-40, pulls out 40-38 home win over Postville

The Kee boys basketball team played to a split of its two games played this past week, both of those games coming in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play. The Hawks opened the week with a 55-40 loss at South Winneshiek Tuesday, January 24 before pulling out a 40-38 triumph at home over Postville Friday, January 27.

Holding a 4-12 season record that includes a 4-8 mark in Upper Iowa Conference play, the Hawks were next scheduled to play back-to-back nights, hosting South Winneshiek Monday, January 30 to make up a December 16 postponement and then traveling to West Central Tuesday, January 31, before making up another game postponed from November 29 when they travel to Central Elkader Thursday, February 2. The Kee boys will then wrap up their regular season schedule Tuesday, February 7 at home against Turkey Valley before being scheduled to host a January 3 make-up date with Waukon Friday, February 10 and then preparing for postseason tournament play that has yet to be determined.
