ACCF offering scholarships to area high school seniors

The Allamakee County Conservation Foundation (ACCF) is offering scholarship opportunities for graduating seniors who will be attending a college or university pursuing a degree in natural resources or a related field. One $500 scholarship will be offered to a senior from each of the area high schools in Allamakee County; Postville, Waukon and Kee.
Students who would like to apply for the scholarship are encouraged to visit www.allamakeecountyconservation.org, the Driftless Area Education and Visitors Center, or their school’s guidance counselor for an application. Applications will be accepted until April 1 and recipients will be notified by May 2.

The ACCF scholarship is made possible by many generous donors, and funded through an endowment with the Allamakee County Community Foundation and the Foundation of Greater Dubuque. Anyone who is interested in donating to the ACCF Endowment fund to help further the mission of the ACCF may do so by contacting the ACCF Office Manager at accb.offmanager@gmail.com or 563-538-0401. For more information on this scholarship opportunity or environmental education events held at the Driftless Area Education and Visitors Center please call 563-538-0403, email accb.naturalist@gmail.com or follow Allamakee County Conservation on its Facebook page.
