The Waukon boys golf team was finally able to get its competition schedule underway this past week, finding pretty good success in defeating three of its opponents faced in a pair of triangular meets. The Indians first topped both Crestwood and South Winneshiek in a home triangular Monday, April 10 before finishing just behind MFL/MarMac but ahead of Postville the very next night in another triangular event played at Tri-City Golf and Country Club near Luana Tuesday, April 11.

The Indians were next scheduled to play in three meets this week, but had a Monday, April 17 meet at Crestwood canceled by winter weather. They are next slated to play back-to-back nights at Waverly-Shell Rock, Thursday, April 20, and at Oelwein, Friday, April 21, in an event postponed from April 4. The golf Tribe will then host Charles City Tuesday, April 25, play in the South Winneshiek Triangular Thursday, April 27 and then play host to both New Hampton and Caledonia, MN Friday, April 28.
