Waukon softball team just a few runs away from remaining undefeated, suffering 10-9 loss at Decorah in nine innings and splitting pair at NFV

Ends the threat, and the ballgame ... Waukon softball junior third baseman Olivia Bossom put a tag on this sliding Crestwood baserunner to end hopes of a late rally in the Indians’ final win of a doubleheader sweep of the Cadets at home Tuesday, May 30. In addition to making this final out of the night, Bossom also collected a double in three at-bats in each of the two games, scoring a run in each contest and driving in the game-tying run in the extra-inning game one.
