Daphne Streicher baptized July 2 ...

Daphne Delores Streicher, daughter of Brad and Emily Streicher of Edgewood, received the sacrament of Holy Baptism Sunday, July 2, 2023. Daphne was baptized at Trinity United Methodist Church in Edgewood by Pastor Mike Jackson and Pastor Roger White. Godparents were Nicole Prestemon of Ames and Brett and Macy Streicher of Edgewood. Daphne wore a baptismal gown that was worn by her mother, Emily, in 1988 and her grandmother, Gail Prestemon, in 1960.

A celebration brunch was held at Daphne’s parents’ home. Attending were her parents, Emily and Brad Streicher, her grandparents, Dave and Gail Prestemon, Vicky and Dennis Salow, and Darrel and Lisa Streicher, and guests Aaron, Sarah and Hoyt Prestemon, Nicole Prestemon, Sue and Dean Engelhardt, Brett, Macy and Pearl Streicher, Ethan Streicher and Carrinton Hunt, Maddy Streicher, and Andy, Crystal, Holden and Harper Salow.
