Diabetes Support Group to meet at VMH Thursday

The Veterans Memorial Hospital (VMH) Diabetes Support Group will hold its next meeting Thursday, October 19 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at Veterans Memorial Hospital in the Large Conference Room, located on the lower level of the hospital.
Brittney Snitker, VMH Pharmacist will be discussing the topic of cardiovascular disease, including heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and vascular disease. With diabetes there is a higher risk for these conditions, so learning to prevent or decrease the risk is very important and will be covered at this meeting.
