The 2025 Kee High School Prom is scheduled for this Saturday, April 26. Pictured above are this year’s senior class Queen and King candidates for the annual event. The annual Prom banquet will be held at TJ Hunter’s Banquet Hall on Main Street in Lansing, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a meal and 2018 Kee graduate Chloe Severson being the guest speaker at the event. The Prom dance will also take place in the banquet hall this year following the Grand March and coronation of this year’s Prom King and Queen that will take place in the Kee High School gymnasium.
In between the banquet and Prom dance, students will be bused from TJ Hunter’s Banquet Hall to Kee High School, where the Grand March and King and Queen coronation will be held in the gymnasium again this year to allow for more space and in order to begin the dance on time. The public is invited to attend the Grand March, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will include the Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances. Doors open to the public for that Grand March at Kee High School at 6:45 p.m. and a free will donation will be taken at the door.
Following the coronation of the Queen and King, Prom attendees will be bused back to T.J. Hunter’s Banquet Hall at 8 p.m. for the dance portion of the evening’s activities, which will end at 11 p.m. Post Prom festivities will follow the dance from midnight until 4 a.m. at the former Lansing Middle School gym, with doors opening for admittance to the Post Prom event at 11:30 p.m. and closing at 12 midnight. The Post Prom celebration provides hypnotist entertainment, games and challenges, raffles, door prizes, snacks and drinks for students and their Prom guests to enjoy.
