The board approved the request to the School Budget Review Committee (SBRC) for Modified Supplemental Amount (MSA) in the amount of $99,890 and to approve the drop-out/at-risk plan for 2026-2027 school year to include:
• The Prevention Specialist monitors those students whose grades or behaviors create the risk of failing and falling behind.
• The After School Support and Monitor watches the students who need to stay after school for transportation reasons.
• The use of Edgenuity gives the students who have failed a class or moved from another state/district the opportunity to make up credits necessary for graduation.
• Our guidance counselor offers weekly or biweekly counseling sessions to teach students ways to cope with challenges from both school and home.
• The identified students (Non-IEP with Extended School Year) attend summer school sessions to work on skills which were identified by their classroom teacher and assessments.
After approving the full consent agenda, which included bills, financial reports, student activity reports, and the food service report, a public hearing was held on the proposed 2026–2027 school calendar. Following the hearing, the board approved the calendar.
