Kee girls track and field team finishes third at Postville’s Bossom Relays, ninth at Decorah Invitational, claims five top-10 finishes at Eastern Iowa T&F Festival

The Kee girls track and field team took part in a busy week of what turned out to be three competition dates for some team members. The Lady Hawks finished third out of nine teams at the Bossom Relays hosted by Postville Tuesday, April 7 before coming in ninth out of 11 teams from all class sizes at the Decorah Invitational Thursday, April 9. Senior Addison Winters and junior Lilah Strong wrapped up the week competing at the Eastern Iowa Track & Field Festival hosted by Iowa City West High School Saturday, April 11, bringing home top-10 finishes in all five events they competed in, including four of those within the top-four individuals competing from all class sizes.

The Lady Hawks were next scheduled to compete in the Waukon Early Bird Invitational Tuesday, April 14 before the MFL/MarMac Invitational Thursday, April 16. They will then take part in the Crestwood Invitational Tuesday, April 21 before hosting their only home meet of the season, Thursday, April 23, at 4:30 p.m.
