Waukon boys golf team finishes second at Waverly-Shell Rock Triangular, claims home dual win over New Hampton

The Waukon boys golf team had a busy early part of this past week before sitting idle for its remainder, playing on back-to-back nights to start last week. The Indians first shot a 158 to finish in second place behind the host squad at the Waverly-Shell Rock triangular Monday, April 20 before winning a dual match at home with New Hampton, 153-164, Tuesday, April 21.

The Indians were next schedule for a busy week this week, playing in a quadrangular hosted by Clayton Ridge at Guttenberg Monday, April 27 and then playing in a triangular at Sumner-Fredericksburg Tuesday, April 28 and in another triangular at West Delaware Thursday, April 30 before hosting both Caledonia and Houston from Minnesota Friday, May 1. The golf Tribe will then prepare for its Upper Iowa Conference Tournament hosted at Big Rock Country Club in Fayette Monday, May 4.
